Christian Book Store Normality

Recently I have found myself frequenting the local Christian Book Store. Ok that seems to be like a great thing to do, right?? Ya no, here's my problem with the place, I spent four, yes FOUR FREAKING hours in there today.
You walk in...O the huge table of books that are 50% off, what these are legit books, let me read the back summaries. Then the check out counter, I know the people working (its pathetic..) moving onward to the back of the store to what I actually came for. Oh wait they have those awesome ESV little Bibles out on premier again. Finally to the kids section what I came for.
An hour later I still find myself sitting on the floor reading possibly every kids ministry book. The kind woman, Miki, is even on the search in the back for just the right book on "Kids activities and games" Ridiculous. Why do I convince myself that coming here is an okay idea?
I decide I seem quiet awkward sitting on the floor. Move to those chairs in the back and BAM- all the sudden your there talking about your ministry verses some stranger for the next forty five minutes. Ignoring the phone ringing from one of this Sundays volunteers who never seems to return your calls, but actually called you back this time...but wait you missed the call because the guy on the other side of you was getting in on the conversations and the three of us had began to get rather worked up in the back of the store talking about Jesus...
Then Standard its about five pm, so time to pack up and head for home- as if we had just accomplished something productive this afternoon like as if we were sitting in an office going at a nine to five pace.
[I love the christian book store for this: Strangers come and sit, talk, get jacked up on Jesus, debate, and go home...no longer strangers but brothers and sisters aware of each others existence here on earth. It's beautiful.]
